Terms & Conditions

1. LICENSES

Motorcycle riders must have a valid motorcycle license, and have already had the license for 4 years or more, and must be over 25 years old. The guest will be required to produce their original driver license, and international license and passport prior to starting the tour.

2. LIABILITY

Asia Riding Adventure makes every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to events which are beyond our control. Passengers should note that motorcycle travel involves an increased risk and a signed release is required by Asia Riding Adventure from all motorcycle riders before the tour commences. Asia Riding Adventure does not guarantee pick up or drop off times and is not liable for passengers connecting flights, trains etc. Asia Riding Adventure accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or luggage.

3. BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Provisional Tour booking requires a specific date, choice of motorcycle model, and minimum 20% deposit paid immediately. A deposit will be fully refunded for tour cancellations more than 30 calendar days before the tour starts (excluding bank charges or any other costs incurred in the transfer).
A deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before the starting date of the hire. The full price is to be paid 14 days before the Tour start date, in order for the booking to be confirmed. If the guest does not commit to payment 14 days before the Tour start date, the booking will be cancelled.

Asia Riding Adventure Tour Cancellations will incur the following charges:

  • 14 Days to 8 Days 50% of Tour cost
  • 7 Days or less 100% of Tour cost

4. MOTORCYCLE SAFE RIDING CONDITIONS

Asia Riding Adventure wishes to maintain the highest standards of safety to ensure the well-being of our guests. We therefore only ride the motorcycles in conditions where there is full visibility during daylight hours, and when vision is not impaired by heavy rain. Motorcycles may only be ridden from sunrise to sunset. Only in the case of late arrival may Asia Riding Adventure motorcycles be ridden at night, and at reduced speed to reach the next destination. When rainfall occurs speed must be reduced to a sensible safe wet road surface handling speed based on the riders skill, until the nearest shelter is reached.

5. ITINERARY DISCLAIMER

Asia Riding Adventure itineraries may change as we make improvements to our tours. Our brochures are updated when tour itineraries change or the need arises. Asia Riding Adventure reserves the right to amend the tour route due to road works, weather conditions, or our new research information on routes. No refunds will be given due to any route change.

6. MOTORCYCLE PROTECTIVE GEAR

Asia Riding Adventure strongly recommends that all protective clothing should be worn. Asia Riding Adventure provides helmets if requested at the booking process. Clothing is not available at Asia Riding Adventure. In Thailand motorcycle helmets are compulsory; boots, protective clothing and gloves for riders and passengers are strongly advised.

7. MEALS AND ALCOHOL

Asia Riding Adventure provides breakfast at the hotel, normally an international buffet and lunch at a restaurant during the day tour, normally Thai food and international buffet. Due to popular demand by guests to arrange their own dinners Asia Riding Adventure do not provide dinner. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us when booking so we can make the appropriate arrangements for you. The Companion vehicle always carries cool bottled water and cool refresher towels. Snacks can be purchased during stops. Asia Riding Adventure does not provide any alcohol on Tour, and does not allow any alcohol consumption during the day while motorcycles are in use. Guests may consume alcohol in the evening when the motorcycles are not in use.

8. TOUR GROUP SIZE

Tour may commence with not less than 2 riders. In case no other riders can join the tour, an additional 100% must be paid for a single rider tour to commence. In order to ensure a certain complicity between the riders, tour groups are limited to 8 riders.

9. FUEL

Fuel during the tour is supplied by Asia Riding Adventure.

10. DAMAGE OR TECHNICAL FAILURES

Damage, mechanical or electrical failure on any Asia Riding Adventure motorcycle must be reported to the tour leader immediately. Included within the tour price is standard motorcycle damage insurance which covers you for accidental damages not exceeding 10 000 bahts.Asia Riding Adventure strongly recommends to apply an additional daily insurance to cover the bike damage.

11. CLOTHING AND THAI SEASONS

Casual clothing is used everywhere, except when visiting temples, where short pants and skirts are not traditionally acceptable. The 3 seasons in Thailand are winter, rainy season, and summer.

  • WINTER: From November to February, the days are warm, but evenings and mornings can be cool, and a light jersey may be used.
  • RAINY SEASON:  From July to October, day’s temperatures are hot, 21 to 30°C. A rain coat is required.
  • SUMMER: From March to June, day’s temperatures can be very hot, 33 to 38°C.
